Brief for speakers

We are aiming to:

• Make this the best meeting attendees ever been to
• Have the best speeches
• Have high quality of the informal part
• Keep great quality of organization

Who do you speak to:

• There are 20+ people from all around the Europe
• They are from different background, some of us are from private funded FabLabs, some of us are from Innovation agencies FabLab, we are having different
• They all are from FabLab or Makerspace environment
• They all are dealing with the similar problems like operations, marketing, attractive lectures, user experience, sustainability...

Therefore we would like to ask you to:

• Keep in mind who do you speak to
• Keep it simple and essencial, try to be specific
• If you have numbers share it
• If you have successes, share it
• If you met roadblocks on your way, share it too, People can learn a lot from failures
• Make a short sum up after your keynote and share recomendations for others based on what you leardned

Type of talks

There are 2 kinds of talks - inspirational talks (14. 3. in the morning) and keynotes (14. 3. Afternoon and 15. 3.).

• Inspirational talks are for max. 20 minutes, suggested length is 10 minutes + 10 minutes Q&A.
• Keynotes are for 60 minutes, suggested length is 30 minutes and 30 minutes Q&A - there is always a lot of questions.

Logistic

• If you want to use presentation, send it in PDF (or online link like prezi if you prefer) to info@fablabbrno.cz by the 13. 3. 2020 or give it to us in the bus to Brno on Friday.
• There is a clicker, flipchart and whiteboard in the room.
• The tables in the room will be arranged in a large U with open space in the middle.
